Principal Investigator of a $2,500,000, 7 year, SSHRC Partnership Grant (involving the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives, the University of Manitoba, the University of Winnipeg, several community groups and the Provincial Government) to examine poverty in inner city and Aboriginal communities, May, 2012. Awarded $20,000 to prepare final proposal, December, 2011.

Co-Investigator  $2.5 million CIHR grant awarded to Make Poverty History Committee of the Assembly of First Nations to investigate the health impacts of economic development in five First nations across Canada.
